Fast-paced, dynamic and proactive, the YouTube Global Operations team is dedicated to ensuring that YouTube can scale its growth. The team is comprised of sub-teams including: Partner Development across Americas, EMEA and APAC, Go-To-Market and Support Solutions, Partnerships Enablement, Global Scaled Operations, Media and Platform Operations, and Business Technology.

YouTube is launching an entirely new short-form video experience (”Shorts”) on YouTube for both creators to create and share videos and for viewers to enjoy them. The mission of the Shorts business team is to scalably grow a healthy, thriving ecosystem of Shorts creators globally. This Shorts business team reports into the Go-To-Market and Support Solutions team, and this role reports to the Director, Shorts Operations and Partnerships.

As Manager of Community Partner Management, you will have the exciting opportunity to create and lead a new model of engaging at scale with our Shorts creators. As Manager, you will be responsible for YouTube’s Shorts engagement model.This new team of Shorts Community Partner Managers will inform, educate, and engage our emerging Shorts creator communities across our major language markets.

Responsibilities:

• Synthesize creator feedback and recommend and drive changes to existing products, policies, and processes to increase Creator satisfaction, activity, and performance.
• Identify and develop top Shorts creators.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product on trends and campaigns.
• Develop and manage YouTube’s EMEA-based Shorts Community Partner Management team.
• Hire, train, and manage Shorts Community Partner Management team in priority markets.

Requirements:

• Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams on multiple timezones, and external partners.
• Experience with digital and/or social media, creator/community management and communications, and content programming, and creative campaign design/management.
• Track record of effective mass communication and engagement.
• Experience with identifying and implementing improvements based on data and insights.
• Experience in new business development and project management.
• Experience managing an online community or ecosystem.
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Content writing skills, ability to adapt, and experience working well in uncertainty.
• Experience leading teams and people management.
