Position Title: Workday Lead

Responsibilities:

  • As our Workday Lead, you will be responsible for the overall design, deployment and maintenance of Workday at Arriva.
  • You will manage a team of front-line user support and technical analysts to ensure that changes and improvements to Workday are assured and released from Sandbox through to Production in a controlled and robust way.
  • Serve as an expert consultative partner to HR business and functional leaders to continuously improve service delivery.
  • Supports the Business Design Authority to Technical Design Authority process, ensuring road mapping exercises and cross-functional resource planning are robust.
  • Responsible for the deployment of feature releases and system maintenance, ensuring client requirements are met.
  • Evaluates feasibility of system modifications and enhancements.
  • Manages the Workday front line support and technical analyst team ensuring day-to-day systems support is balanced with strategic enhancements and projects.

Requirements:

  • You can demonstrate experience in similar roles, with the use of Workday and implementation and management of enterprise wide HR applications. A deep understanding of HCM data and solutions architecture, especially relating to integrations into other systems that use HR data, is essential to be successful in this role.
  • You are able to clearly translate technical dependencies into internal customer risks and benefits, and you are skilled in project planning, resource management, risk monitoring and mitigation.
  • Highly analytical, with strong ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems and issues, you can prioritise workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution to ’close the loop’.
