Position Title: Customer Service Assistant

Job Description

Whatever your role in and around the store, everything you do will be focused on the customer experience. Parking will be a breeze, trolleys in easy reach, help always at hand, stock in the right place, deliveries out on time and payment met with a smile. Of course, while you’re creating a helpful and friendly customer experience, we’ll be thinking of new ways to reward, develop and invest in you. Responsibilities:

  • Keep information confidential
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • See your product through its journey from its original source, anywhere in the world, right through to it being put onto the shelves in one of our stores
  • Scan documents and print files, when needed
  • Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Insert customer and account data by inputting text based and numerical information from source documents within time limits
  • Apply data program techniques and procedures
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files

Requirements:

  • Office based role as it requires constant communication with Commercial teams and adhoc meeting inside the team
  • Extensive administration or retail experience
  • Organisation skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
  • Highly organised, methodical and has high attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data entry operator or Office clerk
  • Experience using office equipment
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Highly proficient in IT systems – MS Applications
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Confidentiality
  • Self-motivated and able to problem solve
  • Ability to understand and write technical documentation
  • Typing speed and accuracy
