Position Title: Department Manager Fleet Maintenance

Job Description:
In this role you will make a full contribution to the department in support of achieving business plan objectives. You will demonstrate complete commitment to achieve customer service satisfaction targets by offering care, attention and flexibility whilst maintaining the Partnerships core values, behaviours and principles. You will manage the daily operation of the CT workshop ensuring that vehicles are maintained to the appropriate Partnership standards and downtime is kept within prescribed limits.
Responsibilities:
- In this role you will ensure that the quality of workmanship produced meets the appropriate standards, and that all Health and Safety measures are in place and adhered to.
- As well as being responsible for the maintenance planning and execution of the JL CDH Region & WR Operating groups fleets.
- You will challenge costs on all aspects of vehicle maintenance with all suppliers.
- You will be responsible for the maintenance planning and execution of the fleets allocated to the workshops.
- In this role you will be accountable for the budget, compliance, strategy and standard of the WR Operating Groups vehicle fleet.
- You will also be accountable for the budget, compliance, strategy and standard of the JL CDH Regions vehicle fleet.
Requirements:
- Compliance with VOSA standards
- Commercial vehicle engineering qualification (NVQ 3) or equivalent.
- A proven back ground in commercial vehicle maintenance experience
- LGV C + E driving licence
- Intermediate Excel
- Certificate of Professional Competence in road transport operations
- Advanced Excel and database
- MIRTE
- HNC or above,
- Dealer experience
