Job Description

This fantastic Job opportunity involves working in our Income Management Team within the Housing Division. The Income Management Officer is responsible for maximising the rental income for the authority by collecting rent, minimising rent arrears, and supporting customers to help sustain their Council tenancies.

Responsibilities:

As an Employee Support Worker, you’ll provide confidential, personal, and administrative support to a Social Worker who is visually impaired. Your day-to-day activities will include driving the Social Worker between locations, note taking and report writing under supervision of the AMHP. In addition, you’ll assist the AMHP with orientation in unfamiliar settings.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this post will have experience in undertaking a broad range of administrative activities. Through this experience you’ll have gained the ability to successfully communicate in both written and verbal context. Previous experience in supporting others, in any setting, is crucial. Your compassion for those who require our service and other employees will shine through. In addition, you’ll have knowledge or show the ability to quickly gain an understanding of what it withholds to work within a health and social care environment.
