Job Description

The School of Arts and Humanities has established a School-wide Information Services team to complement local IT services. We are recruiting an AV Technician who will be a key part of this new team joining other full-time IT staff. The technician is the first point of contact for AV support and involved in installation and maintenance of AV equipment.

The technician will work across the Sidgwick site in shared lecture spaces and the various faculties from both School of Arts & Humanities and School of the Humanities and Social Sciences based on the Sidgwick site.

Responsibilities:

• This role would suit someone who is already working in AV/IT in higher education as they will be filling a vacancy during term and need to be up and running as quickly as possible.
• We are seeking someone with experience of AV/IT systems & services, strong customer service skills & experience. The role holder should be educated to A-Level standard or with equivalent understanding and skills. This role is full-time, based on site, with a requirement for some out of hours work.
