Position Title: Head of Channel Partners

Job Description

This position is responsible for developing and managing existing relationships with the identified Channel Partners. The Head of Channel Partners is responsible for achieving sales quotas and assigned partner objectives on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. The initial number of partners will be nine, and a core part of the role will be reviewing and determining the performance of each Channel Partner individually.

The Head of Channel Partners will represent the entire range of the company products and services for customers and prospects available, while supporting the customer planning cycle and ensuring existing and new customers’ needs and expectations are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and monitor key performance goals for direct reports.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities through the sales funnel applying consistent processes and methodology.
  • Accurate opportunity, account plan, team and product forecasting.
  • Build & maintain an expert level of product knowledge.
  • Lead, motivate, coach and manage the Account Management sales team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, annual revenue targets and other critical success metrics.
  • Oversee hiring and talent development programs to ensure the team is capable of achieving required results.
  • Oversee daily operations of the International Account Management team.
  • Communicate strategy and results to the International Account Management sales team.
  • Work collaboratively with other Sales & Marketing leaders to develop compelling propositions that can be used to drive retention, upsell, and cross sell and to define strategy to achieve sales targets.
  • Build, grow and leverage a strong network of commercial relationships and corporate stakeholders in Tes; positively representing the company brand externally at conferences, meetings, events and trade shows.
  • Manage, update and maintain the CRM at all times.

Requirements:

  • Identified and responded to critical market data, turning complex issues into clear plans for others.
  • Evidence of understanding and implementing differing sales methodologies and sales processes and the application of these for positive business benefit.
  • Lead in innovative thinking and continuous improvement.
  • Extensive experience of building maintaining and leveraging a network of internal and commercial relationships across a range of senior stakeholders. You can hold credible conversations at the highest level within your accounts and the business
  • Take ownership for the whole customer experience to demonstrate value to the business. You will also role-model effective product demonstrations with customers that meet their expressed and/or real requirements.
  • Encouraged a positive approach to change, selling the benefits and involving others.
  • Motivated others to action, gaining respect and commitment of the team ensuring team members know their contribution to team success.
  • Evidence of extensive success within a software sales environment.
