We provide services to partner clients globally via our innovative advanced robotics technology, known as the Ocado Smart Platform (“OSP”), this drives our highly automated, multi-million pound Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs). In our CFCs – together with the proprietary software applications – we operate a world-class online grocery business that automates the single pick of products, ready for your online delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Own the supplier selection process, including RFI’S, RFQ’s, formal tenders
• Facilitate the SRM process for our Tier 1, 2 and 3 Suppliers
• Support Executive Sponsors, Business Owners and Technical Leads in fulfilling their roles within the SRM process
• Serve as the primary Procurement point of contact for assigned suppliers across all Ocado departments (including Legal and Finance)
• Analyse purchasing and vendor data and provide reports as necessary from existing Software Applications (Oracle, Salesforce and INFIMIS). Support regular supplier landscape reviews

Requirements:

• Directly managing suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the best value is achieved.
• A strong understanding of IT purchasing across Hardware and Software (perpetual and SaaS)
• Managing priorities in an energetic environment
• Continuous Improvement mindset – always looking to simplify ways of working.
