Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous individual to join the Content Services team as our technical editor. The responsibilities of the technical editor include reviewing the work of technical content creators and writers, writing articles, developing training materials to improve writing skills, and developing and maintaining writing standards for Arm’s technical content.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and proof-reading content to ensure our the content meets Arm’s quality, clarity, and consistency requirements, and uses our ‘technical content voice’.
• Editing and improving existing content, as well as highlighting areas for team members’ development and giving feedback, advice, and support to Arm’s technical content creators.
• Ownership and championing of Arm’s technical writing standards and rules, its terminology management technologies, and its inclusive terminology initiatives.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a technical editor, and in working with a variety of style guides.
• In-depth knowledge of technical writing concepts with a detailed understanding of the impact of content clarity on user experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and problem solving skills.
• Professional proof-reading experience with great attention to detail.
• An active curiosity about technology, and an ability to learn about Arm’s products.
• Creativity and an open mind.
