Job Description:

This is a rare chance to join the Community Informatics team, we collate and analyse the data for the majority of community services across the whole of Suffolk. The breadth of information is large as we cover inpatient, outpatient and home-based activity but don’t worry we will support you and show you how the community services are pivotal to the NHS as a whole.

Once you have acclimatised to the role and feel confident, you will have some specific services or reports to support. This is the first time we have advertised for more people to work within the team for several years due to a low workforce turnover. The team is based at Sandy Hill Lane, Ipswich but there is an element of home working once you are confident on the data and how to process it. Again, don’t worry, we provide you with the appropriate and secure IT. You will be working with patient level information so a sensible approach to data and an eye for detail and accuracy is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Complete statutory returns for NHS England and other national organisations
• Support the community teams in providing timely accurate data
• Support the community Informatics team in preparing both routine and ad hoc reporting for internal and external customers
• Follow and maintain Standard Operating Procedures that are already in place
