Position Title: Supplier Quality Associate

Job Description
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Associate to join our team in Hull. This position will provide global Supplier Quality support to the Business and its Suppliers of direct materials and services. It will support procurement activities regarding supplier assessment, selection and maintenance while implementing and improving new and existing supplier quality initiatives and requirements while working in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Apply standard and advance statistical techniques to determine product acceptance, evaluate process capabilities, and develop statistically sound tolerance limits.
- Collect NCMR, supplier corrective actions, deviations/concessions and related quality data for trending, scorecard maintenance and supplier performance reports, to enable risk mitigation. This includes supplier assessment, supplier/product qualification and test method alignment. Provide key supplier performance metrics to the department manager, senior management and key collaborators.
- Supports the Supplier change notification process.
- Develop & lifecycle management of SOP’s and incoming inspection documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Support Supplier customer complaint process by assisting in the communication of, analysis, and the development of, corrective action(s).
Requirements:
- Quality Engineering Certification (ASQ- CQA/ CQE) is desirable.
- Experience in the medical device arena or closely related industry.
- Solid understanding of FDA cGMP, GLP, Medical Device Directive, ASTM, AAMI, CEN and ISO standards and regulations.
- Solid understanding of statistical sampling, statistics, audit techniques, test method validation, PPAP planning and the use of MiniTab statistics software preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and SAP programs as they relate to supply chain, inventory, data collection / analysis.
