Job Description:

Looking to the future we have one of the most ambitious capital investment programmes anywhere in the NHS. We aim to treble the amount of space across our estate by 2050, making space available for research institutions and life science industry partners, including start-ups and SMEs, to co-locate with the Trust. We plan to develop a Biomedical Cluster at our London Bridge site (including Guy’s Hospital) focused on advanced therapies, cellular medicine, cancer and biomedical sciences and at our Westminster Bridge site (which includes St Thomas’ Hospital) we are developing a MedTech Cluster building on the Trust’s existing strengths in emergency care, diagnostic imaging, paediatrics and cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for execution of projects that will range from smaller decant works projects involving refurbishment and safety improvement works to larger more complex Development
• Projects across the portfolio of buildings within the Healthcare Estate.
• Assist with the preparations of reports e.g. progress reports, meeting minutes, Quality assurance reports etc.
• Assist in the delivery of the programme, this will be fundamental in assisting in delivering the wider objectives of the Estates Strategy.
• Collaborate and interface with multiple stakeholders including Engineering, Estate and Facilities colleagues, ensuring high quality and suitability commissioned projects are handed over across the
• portfolio of projects.
• Ensure robust policies and procedures are adhered to for the monitoring and safe delivery of
• Health and Safety performance of all Estate related projects.
