Position Title: Marketing Account Specialist

Job Description

The individual will be expected to account manage the marketing requirements of a variety of requests, which will involve the briefing of design, consultation with internal and external teams, as well as developing and critiquing a range of ideas and initiatives. Liaising with Partners to discuss requirements and ensuring delivery that meets with expectations and requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • The creation of and amendments to Partner Websites. Work with the tools and systems provided to undertake complex website creations and maintenance of a variety of online content
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Partner businesses, and when required act as the interface between the Account Executives and Specialist Agency teams
  • Run Partner consultation meetings confidently, discussing and offering ideas to grow and enhance the Partners’ online presence through the Partner website package and SEO
  • Manage and upload content to the digital marketing estate (CMS), individually and globally at a Corporate level, including all websites, video, email services, social media and client facing apps
  • Deliver an excellent service to the Partnership, Field and Cirencester on all enquiries by answering and directing marketing queries through email and phone and liaising with specialist functions of marketing, key suppliers and internal departments to help fulfil Partner requirements
  • Comprehensively review all requests from a platform and marketing perspective, correctly questioning anything that is not clear in regard to review and approach
  • Assess requests and determine correctly if such request constitutes a Financial Promotion, checking against internal and regulatory guidance, liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure items are accurate and compliant
  • Ensure security and hosting are compliant with business requirements as well as ensure all marketing initiatives adhere to brand guidelines and best practice
  • Use, maintain and continuously grow resources available, including the Intranet, documented processes, checklists and best practice to resolve, support and complete requests
  • Provide solid coaching and mentoring to junior staff to maximise opportunity for development and support induction & onboarding and training of new team members

Requirements:

  • In excess of 18 months’ website CMS experience essential
  • Proven content management and development experience across multiple platforms
  • Understanding of and enthusiasm for web technologies, digital trends and innovation
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask and deliver to tight deadlines across multiple requests
  • Strong case management skills using CMS (Salesforce), ensuring audit trails in place. Ability to prioritise and be pro-active on work queues with strong administration skills
  • Proactive, flexible and innovative approach to tasks and problem solving and high attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Confidence to clearly communicate website marketing and marketing techniques with an ability to defend viewpoints based on qualitative and quantitative evidence
  • Proven project management skills across agile and waterfall methodology
  • Experience of project brief, delivery, and signoff process
