Which means your work is essential for transforming everywhere.We are looking for a Strategic Partner Business Manager (SPBM) for account managing and selling to one of the largest and most strategic Solution Providers/Resellers in EMEA. The strategic partner business manager develops a dynamic strategic relationship and dramatically increase the overall bookings and Partner Created revenues from the partners.The role will include translating strategic objectives into a clearly defined, executable business plan. The charter for the role is to develop the efficacy of the partnership; delivering revenue growth above the growth rate of the countries, and across multiple parts of the portfolio. Building a long-term strategic engagement with this major partner, become a trusted advisor and be able to affect investment decisions. An ability to get results through leading virtual teams and successfully orchestrating resources both internally and externally is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing the Partner Business Plan, and agree on goals and objectives consistent with corporate strategy.
  • Aligning sales, marketing, and services activities against these goals.
  • Building roadmaps to develop practices and service delivery capabilities tied to our focus solutions.
  • Driving large opportunities to completion through close management of pipeline and forecast.
  • Present to and educate the partners key influencers to ensure they are including VMware in their recommended solutions/proposals to customers.
  • Work closely with the sales segments and regional sales leaders to execute the partner plan.
  • Be accountable for sales & marketing activities with this partner, ensuring they have the necessary and active support from VMware to be successful.
  • Map VMware channel organization to VMware corporate organization, ensuring free cooperation and communication.
  • Meet and exceed Quarterly Partner Sales Targets and partner goals, forecast all business through the Strategic Partner.

Requirements:

  • Engaging with key stakeholders with the client and develop the strategy and Plan of Record to meet and achieve our joint goals and objectives.
  • Play an instrumental role in the EMEA partner team and act as an influencer and internal advocate to drive the execution and align sales, marketing, and services teams activities to meet goals.
  • Work with our local Partner Business Managers and Enterprise and commercial sales teams to execute to drive business results
  • Work with partner marketing on investments with your client and ensure Marketing provides regular reporting on program results
  • Your role will involve driving and tracking partner enablement and activation as well as coordinating the delivery of Sales and SE Training for all meaningful parties Meet and exceed Quarterly Partner Sales Targets and partner goals, forecast all business through the Strategic Partner.
