Job Description:

The Compliance Analyst is a subject matter expert who will also work with the Payroll, Benefits and Continuous Improvement Teams to analyse data, check reconciliations for key processes and to prepare compliance process documentation. The role will provide technical guidance and recommendations for process improvements supported by data analysis and ad hoc project work in the payroll compliance field. The role will also require customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review payroll processes and making recommendations to ensure processes are compliant and have sufficient checks and controls
• Liaising with key stakeholders, including government departments and other external bodies, to ensure compliance throughout end-to-end processes
• Maintenance and investigation of items raised on the payroll risk register
• Interpreting the data for trends and using data analysis to support reporting, recommendations and decision making

Requirements:

• Experienced payroller, preferably CIPP / IPASS qualification or working towards (we offer study support)
• Confidence in technical ability to ensure effective stakeholder management combined with strong customer service skills
• Demonstrable intermediate level Excel skills and data analytical skills
