Responsibilities:

Provide key operational support on a range of Planning processes across finance, resourcing and delivery governance activities, working closely with Planning Managers to both deliver and continually improve our ways of working
Provide subject matter expertise across key portfolio management systems including Clarity PPM, Spark and Ariba, helping to train new colleagues in how to use these systems effectively
Coordinate effective meeting governance, ensuring that high quality inputs are collated and reviewed in a timely manner; capturing actions and decisions, and tracking through to completion
Track performance against key targets such as time-booking and capitalisation across the department, coordinating robust governance processes to drive compliance; highlight risks and issues in a timely manner, proposing potential solutions to resolve

Ensure Planning governance documentation and playbooks are up to date, informative and readily available for our stakeholders to access
Produce regular informative and accurate reporting and analysis, which drives effective action and decision-making

Requirements:

Previous experience of working in a PMO / Planning function with an appreciation of the project lifecycle

Strong communication skills and an ability to establish and develop relationships with people at different levels within the organisation
Motivated and proactive self-starter with an ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions
Excellent time management skills with an ability to adapt quickly to change and flex responsibilities to meet the evolving needs of the business
Knowledge and experience of portfolio management tooling such as Clarity PPM
Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude, with a passion for learning and growing your knowledge, skills and network
