Job Description

Our residential homes provide a safe and nurturing environment for our young people with adverse childhood experiences to be supported to flourish. This will often include children who demonstrate behaviour that challenges. We provide them with a safe, caring community in which they can learn how to build positive relationships and support them in becoming successful adults.

Responsibilities:

• You will work as part of a team that encourage and stimulate emotional and social growth by devising and organising out-of-school activities, encouraging the children/young people to socialise and to join organisations outside the Home.
• In addition, you will work in partnership with families and carers of children, Social Workers and other outside agencies, as required.

Requirements:

• Committed to working with Families and their Children within a residential setting behaviour can be complex and challenging.
• Have appropriate knowledge and experience of working with Families and children and committed to training and continued professional development.
• Be Creative and able to use your own initiative whilst working in a challenging environment.
• Enthusiastic and highly adaptable to changing circumstances.
