Job Description

Our Operations, Analytics and Change team are looking for an Operations Excellence Associate to join the team to work across projects that will originate and drive service improvement within the HR function, impacting across the 30,000 individuals at RELX. This role expands the entire end to end change lifecycle from concept to realisation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain and foster successful relationships with key functional and operational teams at all levels up to c-suite across the business
• Work within a direct and matrix project structure across multiple functions in the business providing regular guidance to business stakeholders to drive the project forward
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with all the levels of the organisation
• Lead and deliver process mapping, org design and operating model work as part of the creation and delivery of business cases into significant volumes of employees across the business
• Drive the execution of strategic projects, workstreams and problem solving process with a strong analytical focus and understanding of the employee experience and journey
• Develop and deliver change management approach and plan for workstreams/project as appropriate
• Effectively manage the outcomes driven by the project and is capable of steering the business in a new direction

Requirements:

• Experience or knowledge of shared service centre design and/or other HR/people or similar transformation programmes
• Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate whilst developing strong relationships across all organisational levels with a collaborative approach
• Significant experience in both business improvement (analysis, process, design, business case) and project/programme management including change management skillsets
• Exceptional attention to detail, business acumen and commercial focus
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
