Position Title: Finance Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with tasks and testing in relation to the quarterly Fusion patch through development > test and production environments
  • Capture business requirements & change requests from the business. Record changes in JIRA with no audit exceptions.
  • Management of queries, Service now queues, defects and SRs – facilitating between the business, Fujitsu support, Oracle Functional Helpdesk, OMCS, and Oracle Virtual Maintenance Team (VMT)
  • Update the Fusion configuration workbook.
  • Support BPOs to determine and support end to end UAT testing. Successfully deploy pre-developed solutions in production on time with minimum impact to the business.
  • Adhere to Fusion system controls effectively at all times
  • Assisting with Oracle Fusion finance system configuration and technical activities. Working with super users and Fusion Business Process Owners (BPOs) see appendix 1 for Fusion business processes.
  • Assist relevant individuals in Financial Accounting & Control team to ensure completeness of information for month end processes

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems approach to releases and patches and interpretation of release notes
  • Experience of configuration of ERP Systems for large organisation
  • Able to communicate technical knowledge in a concise and understandable format
  • Understanding of Accountancy practices
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge & understanding of Fusion modules See appendix 1
  • Technical knowledge and implementation experience of interfaces and configurations
  • Analytical skills to identify root cause issues.
  • Operating in a time bound demanding environment
  • Recommend/ identify/ implement Fusion solutions
  • Able to deliver and meet tight deadlines
  • Produce auditable documentation in JIRA system
