Job Description

There will be multiple projects and change initiatives to manage, for which the People Partner will be required to access a good HR tool kit and be able to act as a trusted advisor to the business, demonstrating credibility through previous experience of working within a People function.

Responsibilities:

• This role will partner with our Senior Leadership Group (SLG) and/or General Executive (GE), as necessary, to help develop and deliver an integrated people strategy for all respective business areas.
• They will provide sophisticated People Partnering to ensure the execution of our people agenda, working in partnership with their relevant Leadership Teams, helping them to drive forward our strategic initiatives, such as workforce planning, talent mapping & succession planning and helping their business leaders to come up with relevant actions that improve our culture and re-enforce our ways of working.

Requirements:

• Previous experience of supporting group function (Finance, Legal, HR, Communications) stakeholder groups preferred
• CIPD qualification or proven track record of HR technical knowledge
• Experience of delivering strategic people initiatives, in partnership with senior stakeholders, in a large, complex, multi-sited organization, with shared support function
• Ability to work autonomously, with limited support and guidance, to lead the people agenda, using a sophisticated and diverse HR tool kit
• Able to understand different ways of operating and the implication on the business and culture of each way
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Proactive mindset
• Experience leading change (including TUPE, redundancies)
• Ability to juggle multiple projects in addition to BAU
• Analytical and numerate, with the ability to understand and interpret trends from data and use data to back up decision making
• Confident to challenge the status quo in a supportive and constructive manner
• Commercially orientated with strong business acumen
