Job Description

Guide and develop the commercial performance of the products sold via the Retail business unit of Post Office Ltd.

Responsibilities:

  • Based on performance and market trends set annual targets and reforecasts across mails and retail products
  • Review performance MI daily/weekly/monthly to understand the drivers of current performance and provide commentary as required
  • Provide management reports on a regular and ad hoc basis
  • Identify the future trends of the business through understanding the wider industry and market events that could impact income or volume to Post Office Ltd
  • Translate data into actionable programs to generate mails and retail growth as well as support marketing and network sales activities
  • Proactively challenge current ways of working and suggest opportunities and benefits of different working practices
  • Develop business capabilities to provide performance information to Internal and External stakeholders
  • Share performance MI in an end user orientated manner which leads to greater knowledge and information sharing
  • Develop commercial models and business templates and standards in order to create consistency within the Mails and Retail area
  • Support strategic and commercial discussions, both internally and externally by providing support, modelling and analysis in key decision topics
  • Support Mails and Retail business development with analysis and modelling as required
  • Develop a deep understanding of how the mails and retail data works

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level, preferably analytics, Business, Mathematics
  • Further qualification in Management Accountancy or analytics
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and reporting tools
  • Excel – Advanced
  • Access – Intermediate
  • Powerpoint – Intermediate
  • Power BI – Advanced

About Post Office Ltd

On Saturday 7th July Post Office colleagues joined thousands of people on the London Pride.
