Position Title: Reinsurance Analyst

Job Description

We are increasing the size of our recently formed Reinsurance team to support the rapid growth in our Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) business under the Standard Life brand. Though continuous innovation we aim to be the best reinsurance function in the industry. Helping individuals learn and develop is key to achieving this goal.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrity to do the right thing

  • Commercial awareness to know what matters
  • Communications skill to explain why to others
  • (Part) qualified actuary or equivalent

Requirements:

  • Experience of Solvency II capital and regulations
  • Experience of modelling defined benefit pensions
  • Experience of reinsurance or pension scheme de-risking transactions
  • Experience of developing models, tool or processes
  • Experience of demographic and market risk assumptions
