Job Description

The Heads of Architecture will work as part of the broader technology family, reporting into the CTO, but will come to work every day feeling like they are part of the domain / business area they are aligned to and wanting to solve the problems that will make a different to that domain. The successful candidate will be someone who can integrate well into their domain team, be comfortable working in a matrix, and be highly respected because of how they articulate what technology can do to solve business problems and enable future growth.

Responsibilities:

• You will manage a local (Domain) Design Authority in accordance with the ‘guard rails’ delegated by the ARB, recording Architecture Design Record (for each decision) to ensure traceability between solutions and strategy (for solution reviews).
• As part of your Design responsibilities you will produce a quarterly Architecture Principles Scorecard.

Requirements:

• Experience as an architect
• Strong experience in a ‘Lead Architect’ or ‘Head of Architecture’ role
• Experience specialising in the applicable domain
