Position Title: Packaging Engineer

Job Description

Leading EU MDR packaging projects from initiation to execution, including but not limited to alignment with Productivity & Cost Saving initiatives, overlapping AWM projects, Automation of processes, application of pack format changes to achieve EU MDR compliance. Delivery of packaging and documentation updates specifically relating to technical file completion, submission deadlines and EU MDR implementation timings to meet both commercial & compliance requirements. Identification of opportunities to streamline current ways of working and presenting proposals on these projects to the business / EU MDR workstream leaders.

Responsibilities:

• Strong communication at all levels of the business, both internal and external, ensuring projects are agreed and executed in a timely manner.
• Project Management required across multiple projects and functions and in some instances validation support may be required.
• Ability to resolve conflict in a matrix environment, and not only work cross functionally but across the other S&N franchises.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal departments and 3rd party suppliers.

Requirements:

• A proven and effective Project Manager.
• Diploma member of the Institute of Packaging preferred
• Self-starting, commercially aware with a strong results orientation.
• Knowledge of Packaging manufacturing standards, methods & processes.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to work around global timezones.
• Knowledge of Change Control process & Quality Management Systems
• Able to travel to Warwick site when needed
