Job Description

The Data and Student Analytics team (D&SA) are spearheading a transformation of the university’s data analytics capability. Our aim is to support our key stakeholders in the university by enabling evidence driven decision making through data and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• The Data Engineer role is an exciting and varied role that sits within the Data & Student Analytics team. As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for building, maintaining and enhancing the enterprise data warehouse. You will combine a wide range of technical skills with business knowledge to deliver knowledge and value from key OU data.
• You will collaborate with other teams across the OU to understand their mid to long-term business objectives and help them to deliver by conducting analyses to support strategic activities across the business as well as designing and developing appropriate internal business solutions.
• Although this role is aligned to our Milton Keynes office, we are flexible on location across the UK, but will require occasional attendance onsite.
