Job Description

You will be based at Birmingham Airport and this will be considered to be your normal place of work (your base site). The Airport has two terminals – Main (T1) and Eurohub (T2) and surveys are carried out in both Arrivals and Departures of each of the Terminals. If you are required to work away from this site, you will be entitled to motor mileage and day subsistence. The Birmingham based team also cover the residual site of East Midlands Airport where you will also be required to work. As is normal with the IPS Interviewer positions, any contract awarded will include the requirement to

Responsibilities:

• You will be expected to understand the data needs of various business areas within ONS and data consumers across other government departments, to develop data and process models to support their activities.
• This includes producing data designs, documenting the data journey for various statistical processes: from data acquisition all the way through to producing statistical data outputs.
