Position Title: Risk and Compliance Specialist

Job Description

The purpose of the role is to provide effective assistance to the Operations Team as an Administrator. You will support in the co-ordination of data and reporting requirements for our clients along with supporting the consultancy and project management offices with general administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Compliance action tracking
• Support and review first line AML/KYC processes
• Coordinate risk and compliance actions
• Assist in data mapping, third party due diligence and ongoing reviews of data protection practices
• Ensure that policies are up to date, annually reviewed, approved, stored and communicated
• Own and develop the compliance training programme
• Own and maintain the incidents log and encourage incident logging
• Triage and respond to ongoing compliance requests and queries
• Pull together Committee and Board Reporting, analysis and continuous improvement
• Ensure that our Senior Managers and Certification Regime operates smoothly
• Design and build key processes from scratch
• Own the fin proms process, review and approve comms
• Ensure that the conflicts of interest register is up to date
• Carry out compliance monitoring reviews and ongoing testing
• Coordinate our Financial Conduct Authority reporting

Requirements:

• An ambition to develop a career in tech risk management and regulatory compliance
• Experience of working in an FCA regulated environment and some knowledge of FCA Consumer Credit and Data Protection regulations
• The ability to work autonomously and at pace
