Position Title: Occupational Health Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced registered nurse, you will be contributing to the provision of outstanding Occupational Health services and employee wellbeing support, undertaking medical assessments in-line with clinical and railway industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Providing the business with sound, evidence-based clinical guidance, liaising closely with employees, managers and HR colleagues, contributing to case conferences where required.
• Assisting in the development and delivery of a business-wide health and wellbeing outreach programme, positioning wellbeing support at the heart of employee experience.
• Deliver fitness-to-work medical assessments at our Occupational Health Centre, in-line with railway industry standards and requirements. This includes ancillary medical checks (ECGs, eyesight, audiometry, spirometry) as required.
• Carrying out pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Assist line managers to manage attendance within the business by carrying out management referrals, providing advisory guidance, provide basic counselling services, and/or referrals to further professional services as required.
