Job Description:
Nuffield Health is Britain’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organisation. Join us as a Duty Manager in our Devonshire Fitness & Wellbeing Gym and play your part in building a healthier nation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Health and Safety and resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Conduct tours for prospective new members, predominantly selling the benefits only Nuffield Health can provide.
- Assist and be involved with new member sales and achieving and working towards a sales target
- Lead your reception team to provide excellent customer service and care to all our members.
- Lead staff and maintain quality standards in all areas.
- Help us to create a friendly, relaxing and professional environment.
- Provide exceptional and efficient customer service to everyone who visits the club.
- Support the café team with serving snacks and drinks.
- Care about our members, so you will seek opportunities to build rapport with them and ensure they are happy with their experience.
- Give a warm welcome and answering queries in a caring and helpful way, making sure everyone feels valued.
- Help achieve sales targets.
Requirements:
- Have great communication skills, whether face-to-face or on the phone. You will have the confidence and empathy to provide excellent customer care to all sorts of people.
- As part of the role, you will need to complete a Lifeguard course, so being a competent swimmer is essential.
- Be self-motivated, with plenty of initiative. You also have experience of delivering great service
- The ability to get to grips with our business quickly.
- Have the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Demonstrable sales experience.
- To b e enthusiastic, have excellent communication skills, collaborative spirit as well as a ‘can do’ attitude.
