Position Title: NMR Spectroscopist Scientist

Job Description

Our JMTC business provides research and technical support for the commercial operations of JM’s business units. In addition, they offer a comprehensive array of advanced characterisation services; provide a company-wide information resource; and conduct fundamental research into new processes and technologies essential to the future growth and success of our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysing, interpreting and reporting data in a timely manner.
  • Communicating results to customers in a clear and impactful way.
  • Contributing to the management of NMR labs, including instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Continuously improving workflows in sample preparation and data analysis to deliver an efficient and reliable service.
  • Continued personal and professional development.
  • To carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Requirements:

  • PhD in chemistry or a related subject, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in solid state NMR data collection and analysis
  • Experience in preparing and delivering high quality technical reports and presentations
