Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the tickets raised are resolved as per SLA and if not escalate as per the defined escalation matrix.
• To assign & resolve all faults to appropriate technical escalation areas and notify line management of issues and problems requiring attention.
• Following up with vendors (hardware & software) whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtimes
• Timely update/Quality update of tickets in the ticketing tool
• Provide support to managers, team members and other colleagues to ensure departmental best practice is adhered to
• Troubleshoot customer networks for escalated faults & assist the team in troubleshooting and handling issues.
• Managing and maintaining multi-vendor, multi-protocol datacenter & backbone networks
• To complete detailed fault diagnostics on network equipment utilizing appropriate technical diagnostic tools
• To achieve agreed performance levels in line with business targets, customer requirements and the functional SLA’s.
• Undertake technical fault diagnosis and resolution across a large number of internal groups and third-party suppliers to ensure customer incidents are resolved within agreed company service level standards.

Requirements:

• Proficient in LAN, WAN, and network architecture
• Experience in supporting Cisco Router, Switches & Firewalls
• Hands on experience on Cisco ASA or Firepower
• Experience & knowledge in networking: IPv4, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS, VLANS, Ethernet, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, VPN.
• Possess excellent network troubleshooting skills
• Hands on experience on Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN Viptela, Firepower, and ACI desirable.
• Possess remote working experience in a global environment.
