Job Description

As a Lead Fraud Analyst, you’ll be leading the analysis, review and development of effective fraud systems, models and rules performance that drive improved customer outcomes. You’ll provide subject matter expertise to support change activity and proactively recommend improvement opportunities to your stakeholders, embedding a customer focused approach to analytics and the delivery of simple and effective solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, maintaining effective fraud detection strategies and related analytics
• Manage analytical projects, includes planning, reporting benefits and stakeholder management
• Regularly evaluating fraud detection strategies from both a cost and loss benefit perspective
• Driving development of strategies to combat new risks to deliver against loss targets
• Build capability of the team through coaching on technical topics, documentation, coding standards and act as a subject matter expert for Fraud Analytics team
• Presenting analytical insight with clarity and conveying complex technical information in a way your audience can clearly understand

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in data analytics and reporting
• Specialist knowledge in data management to support analytics
• A proven track record of senior stakeholder management and engagement
• Extensive experience working with Card Fraud systems, tools and strategies
• Expert knowledge in either SAS, SQL or Python or similar programming languages
