Position Title: Analyst

Job Description
At National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO) we’re aiming to operate a zero-carbon electricity system for Great Britain by 2025. This means using wind, solar and hydropower – without relying on any carbon-based generators to balance the grid.
Responsibilities:
- Degree in a technical/analytical discipline plus relevant engineering experience or equivalent
- Demonstrable skills analysing complex data to provide value adding insights.
- Proven background of using PowerPoint and especially Excel at expert level.
- Experience of building reports and dashboards.
- Can work with large data sets and to set deadlines.
Requirements:
- Project Management Accreditation (or working towards) e.g. APM
- Regulation knowledge
- Good understanding of PowerBI, S4HANA/MyFinance, OPPM and Primavera P6 system
