Position Title:Payroll Manager FTC

Job Description:

National Express Group is a leading public transport operator with bus, coach and rail services in the UK, Continental Europe, North Africa, North America and the Middle East. Passengers made 939 million journeys on our services in 2019.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the day to day processing of payrolls and evaluate teams workloads, re distributing when required, to ensure finalisation within agreed deadlines
  • Responsible for ensuring pay awards and all relevant uplifts in pay are applied as per negotiated agreements
  • Create, run and distribute reports from iTrent and Boxi
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Ensure PAYE submissions are reconciled and completed within deadlines
  • Responsible for P11d submission and Class 1A payments
  • Ensure all UK & ROI legislative items attributed to the payroll process including NMW are adhered to.
  • Prepare and complete Group and Senior payrolls in strict confidentiality
  • Authorise and sign BACS files ensuring completion and control.
