Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to effectively manage contracts for Managed Motorways, Street Lighting, Traffic Signals, Intelligent Transport System and other electrical device asset maintenance activities and projects in accordance with DoT policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Annual Salary Range: VPS4: $90,067 – $102,192
• Tenure: Ongoing
• Employment Type: Full Time
• Work Location: Bendigo (flexibility may be available)

Requirements:

• Exercise professional independent judgement when scheduling resources or prioritising activities to achieve the desired business results.
• Exercise professional independent judgement in work scheduling matters in relation to internal and external contracts to achieve required outcomes.
• Assess complex contractor claims for merit against the contract requirements and provide recommendations for their resolution.
• Provide sound advice to business areas on asset management performance and options to address shortfalls in asset performance.
• Effectively supervise contracts in line with OH&S practices under broad supervision, escalating relevant issues.
• Ability to undertake research and analysis to improve processes to achieve desired organisational outcomes.
