Responsibilities:

Liverpool City Council is looking to recruit Short Break Support Workers (unqualified) within the Short Breaks Service. The contractual hours are 10 hours per week and the salary will be reflective of the part time hours. The roles are fixed term for 12 months to address the waiting lists that have greatly increased due to COVID restrictions.

Requirements:

As the successful applicants will be required to work directly to support disabled children and young people to access universal services within their own communities. The direct work will be focused on play and social & leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people, including community based and provision based activates at our specialist Ofsted registered short breaks provision.
