The City of Ventura is hiring! We are accepting applications for the positions of Lifeguard I and Lifeguard II-Swimming Instructor for the City of Ventura Aquatics Program.

Join the City of Ventura’s team of water safety professionals at our state-of-the-art aquatic center. Our complex features a 50-meter competition pool, 25-meter recreation pool, a zero-depth water playground, and two 20-foot waterslides.

Requirements:

• American Red Cross Lifeguard Training
• Candidates must be at least 16 years of age at time of appointment, show proof of American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certification (if certified), successfully complete the physical assessment test and interview process, attend the Lifeguard Recruitment Training Program, facility orientation/skills test,
• American Red Cross Community First Aid
• American Red Cross CPR-FPR (Professional Rescuer)
