Position Title: Technical Officer

Job Description

Our Care and Repair team assess vulnerable client’s needs in their property to carry out any recommended adaptations which enable people to remain in their own homes and within their own communities to achieve better health and wellbeing and improve the Clients quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • You will use your technical experience of property construction and/or housing repairs to improve, repair and adapt Clients homes.
  • You will carry out home visits to assess and discuss the Clients housing needs and provide technical advice, preparing schedules of work, specifications and drawings as needed.

Requirements:

  • You will manage your own caseload and due to a significant amount of travelling you must have a full driving license and excellent time management skills.
  • You must have an HNC or equivalent in a building related subject or 5 years technical experience with good communication skills and a sensitive approach.
