Position Title:COVID-19 Vaccination Programme

Job Description:

With past experience in a senior role within a vaccination centre as a POD Leader, the post holder will work as leader of a dynamic team in delivering a safe and effective service for the mass delivery of COVID-19 vaccinations, including any additions to the vaccination programme moving forward e.g. Flu.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and oversight of screening and vaccination delivery.
  • Clinical escalations of clinical supervisors, clinical assessors and vaccination staff.
  • Provision of adequate leadership and support to all staff and citizens.

Requirements:

  • Clinical review of patient safety conditions and identification of potential clinical risks and concerns.
  • Handle difficult conversations (sensitive, language barriers, hostile atmosphere) and convert complex technical information into easily to understand communication.
  • Ensuring the effective delivery of care including undertaking specialist procedure, providing specialist advice, structured education and ongoing support to the site staff and the patients.
