Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced and talented copywriter to work across our portfolio of digital products. Reporting to the head of creative, you’ll work collaboratively alongside another copywriter. You’ll be responsible for writing and sub-editing collateral such as long-form product brochures, product sheets, white papers and blogs, alongside short-form copy for adverts, social media, emails and scriptwriting for short videos.

The successful candidate will be a commercially aware, research-led writer who’s interested in marketing, digital products, and education. We’re looking for someone with passion and creative flair who wants to join a dynamic and ambitious company.

Responsibilities:

• Adapt copy to specific target audiences across B2B and B2C in an easily digestible format
• Ensure creative workload is effectively prioritised and delivered on schedule
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with other departments within Tes Global
• Write copy for offline (print, sales presenters, brochures, leaflets…) and digital (emails, newsletters, online adverts, social visuals, landing pages, graphic animations…) assets
• Support internal copy requests such as employee communications, events and initiatives
• Integrate copy feedback from various stakeholders
• Remain flexible to the demands of the marketing team and wider business
• Adhere to brand guidelines across all creative assets, ensuring our materials display a consistent and coherent tone of voice
• Manage creative projects from conception through implementation

Requirements:

• Ability to turn high quality written material around quickly, accurately and at short notice
• Ability to understand complex products and provide simple, jargon-free copy
• Briefing and reviewing work from designers (both print and digital)
• At ease collaborating with marketing, product and UX teams to deliver a range of copy with different objectives while still maintaining our overall tone of voice
• Managing and co-ordinating creative workflow
• Strong digital experience, comfortable working with CMS systems and drafting headlines, call-to-actions and conversion-optimised subject lines
• Ideally, you’ll have a degree in creative advertising, English, communication or media studies, journalism, or public relations, but this isn’t essential
• A portfolio demonstrating your copywriting experience across digital and print campaigns, including examples of short and long-form copy in a variety of styles
• Developing copy/tone of voice guidelines, alongside establishing and creating rules and regulations around written content
• Working with a specified tone of voice with brand-led strategic messaging
