Job Description

This fantastic Job opportunity involves working in our Income Management Team within the Housing Division. The Income Management Officer is responsible for maximising the rental income for the authority by collecting rent, minimising rent arrears, and supporting customers to help sustain their Council tenancies.

Responsibilities:

You’ll undertake daily inspections of designated sites and lead a team of operatives. You’ll ensure they are fully trained and competent, ensuring they are working productively and safely.  You’ll identify specific environmental or hazardous aspects. Using chemicals and equipment as necessary, you’ll ensure the maintenance of standards. You’ll be required to removing litter, leaves, detritus, illegal dumping, dog fouling, graffiti and emptying of litter bins.

Requirements:

You’ll have experience of working in a cleaning environment as well as an understanding of HASWA and COSHH regulations. You’ll have previous driving experience with the ability to be responsible for allocated vehicles. Using excellent communication skills, you’ll be able to liaise with Managers and conduct team meetings. With strong organisation skills you’ll be able to plan and prioritise workloads to ensure the team are working to satisfactory standards. Self-motivated with the ability to motivate and lead a team, you’ll create a positive working environment.
