Job Description:

As Field Team Leader you will provide strong dynamic leadership and direction to your team, supporting and equipping them to operate and maintain flood risk management assets and ensuring that they can deliver an effective and professional response to flood risk and environmental incidents. Your team members health, safety and wellbeing will be central to your role.

Responsibilities:

• A strong understanding of health & safety legislation, risk management procedures and practices including CDM and confident in managing and mitigating health and safety risks.
• We’re looking for someone with:
• Experience of working with a range of customers both internal and external and delivering excellent customer service
• Well-developed communication and influencing skills.
• Excellent people skills and experience of leading a team.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.
• Experience of programme and financial management.
• The ability to prioritise tasks and to quickly adapt to changing situations.
• Ideally some knowledge of civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or asset management.
• Experience in motivating people to deliver to their full potential, with a track record of managing staff wellbeing effectively and delivering against corporate targets.
• Experience of managing performance fairly and effectively.
