Job Description

You will support quality, safety, Continuous Improvement, and reliability tasks on aerospace, medical and/or nuclear programs.S&MA is an independent engineering reporting organization within MDA. S&MA is involved in all aspects of the program, including support to proposals, customer and subcontractor contract negotiations, and through all phases of design, development, procurement, assembly, integration, test, qualification, delivery and operational support.This job requires interaction with internal customers (including MDA program managers, engineering and manufacturing team), external customers (including their program and S&MA personnel) and various subcontractors and major suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Actively support CAR investigations, documentations, and closeout to ensure effective corrective and preventative action is implemented.
• Work with different departments and stakeholders to identify area for improvements and support the implementation of it.
• Enable early identification of quality requirements and implementation planning.
• Assist Internal and External audit planning and preparations.
• Collect data and provide reports on different aspects of the business to management and senior leadership.
• Provide continuous monitoring and support of the solution and its implementation during MAI&T to ensure it meets MDA and Customer technical and quality requirements.

Requirements:

• Interested candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in Industrial, Quality, or System engineering).
• The successful candidate will have proven capability to work on multiple projects concurrently with effective time management.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts, Six Sigma initiatives and Continuous Improvement techniques is an asset.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Visio is a must.
