Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 HPLC / LCMS analyst to join a research and bioanalysis unit working on the development of new antibiotics as part of the departmental research portfolio. The bioanalysis unit is situated in one of the largest hospitals in the SW of England and the work will be to support research projects, including Phase I and Phase II clinical trials of new antibiotics that are being developed through the EU Innovative Medicines Initiative. The trials are being undertaken in association with several large pharmaceutical companies and the bioanalysis unit is working as part of the GNA Now partnership.

Requirements:
- Excited to be a vital member of the direct care team, supporting staff to meet patient needs?
- Happy to undertake a range of duties, including (but not limited to):
- Providing personal care for patients of all ages and genders, including toileting, showering and bed bathing
- Assisting patients to eat and drink and to maintain good nutrition and fluid intake
- Ensuring clinical area is prepared and maintained as appropriate to individual patient needs.
