Job Description

Responsibilities:

• To ascertain the value of the assets purchased, or to be purchased, under the client’s agreement with GTRF
• To identify and provide recommendations to manage financial, operational and relationship based risk
• To conduct audits on new and existing clients at their premises (a job car will be provided due to extensive travel)
• To identify weaknesses in the collectability of the security/proposed security and recommend actions to strengthen HSBC’s position in the event of client default
• To create value by sharing technical knowledge with all staff and acting as a role model for improving standards and efficiency
• To determine the likelihood and timing of the need to rely on those assets to protect HSBC’s security
• Demonstration of HSBC UK principles of treating customers fairly
• Work with others, to maintain and build upon high customer service standards by putting the customer at the heart of everything we do
• Broaden and deepen the relationships with new and existing clients

Requirements:

• A full clean driving licence
• A high degree of analysis and judgement
• Experience in making sound decisions after seeking and evaluating relevant information, facts and evidence
• Good working knowledge of Excel and ability to work across several applications simultaneously
• Full training and accreditation will be provided. Jobholder will also have the opportunity to work towards an Industry related Diploma or Certificate
• Good financial analysis skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to commit to a firm course of action and be held accountable for outcomes
• A high degree of self-motivation to achievement of results, acknowledging that the job often requires significant time working independently of your team
• Ability to self- drive own development
• Knowledge of GTRF products and delivery channels, and a good working knowledge of HSBC Group products is desirable
• Previous experience in an audit role is highly desirable
