Job Description

Neighbourhoods and Housing is in the process of modernising and improving its services and is seeking to recruit an exceptional business change officer to help us lead and coordinate improvement and change initiatives relating to the Housing Management System (NEC – formerly Northgate).

Responsibilities:

• The role requires the management of project plans, coordination of work packages, engagement in business analysis and business transition management and to provide update reports in line with established governance arrangements.
• You will work closely with various Housing teams to ensure that business and customer needs and requirements are first and foremost in everything we build – and that these are thoroughly captured and embedded in the operational solution.

Requirements:

• You will have experience of undertaking Change Management, planning and implementing new ways of working at an operational level. You will have excellent skills in understanding business requirements through negotiation, communication, and empathy.
• You will have strong ICT skills, ideally in NEC (Northgate) Software Solutions, but this is not essential.
• The post resides in the Corporate Transformation Structure but forms part of Neighbourhoods and Housing Business Development and Change
