Responsibilities:

• Central government have recently confirmed a selective licensing scheme which covers the whole of the private rented sector across the city.
• We are now looking for a dynamic, experienced and enthusiastic
• Environmental Health Officer to join the Enforcement Team. Already well known for its proactive approach to enforcing conditions in the private rented sector, our team use their full range of skills in an effective and innovative way to secure improvements for residents in privately rented homes and selective licensing will add to the toolkit already in use for such work.

Requirements:

• The role is demanding and so will require you to take personal responsibility for a wide and varied caseload and perform with a high level of professionalism and in return we will give you the opportunity to be part of a varied role that will include partnering other services, carrying out investigations and carrying out property inspections whilst being given the opportunity to develop working alongside our experienced officers and management teams.
