Responsibilities:

• We are looking for individuals who have the drive to provide a pro-active approach to the prevention and relief of homelessness.
• Successful applicants will be involved with activities to support applicants seeking housing; initiatives to prevent homelessness, assessing applications and determining cases for those who are homeless; associated casework, and partnership working to secure best possible outcomes for applicants.

Requirements:

• Gloucestershire County Council’s Children and Families Commissioning Hub is looking to recruit a Commissioning Officer specifically to work with and across children’s social care to be a Housing Advice and Support Officer.
• role is for someone who will be the first point of contact for our social workers and will provide the initial advice and guidance on a range of housing related matters.
