Job Description:

Established in 1981 with a single store in the North West of England, JD Sports Fashion Plc is a leading Multi-Channel retailer of sports fashion and outdoor brands in the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Administer the DAS Finances: Create new DAS cohorts for providers, check and approve DAS
• Approval requests, apply for incentives, monitor funds, and update the financial spreadsheet.
• Supporting the engagement and on boarding process with suppliers for all starts to apprenticeship programmes
• Ensure that all systems and records are GDPR compliant.
• Engagement meetings with internal stakeholders, providing information on relevant apprenticeships, providers and start dates. Manage the drop-in sessions when required
• Manage external suppliers to support any apprenticeship programmes i.e., learner progress, any barriers to learning, EPA bookings, placements etc.
• Monitoring, analysing, and reporting monthly to ensure apprentice/student progress and quality is maintained
• Act as an ambassador for apprenticeship programmes, both internally & externally, supporting on any external events as required.
• Day-day management of bulk programmes with our main provider i.e., DC, retail, management apprenticeships when required.
• Planning and coordination of apprentice roadshows, events, including inductions, networking lunches, celebration events etc.
• Plan and organise regular marketing material, promoting apprenticeship programmes internally and externally via case studies, LinkedIn etc.
• Working with internal colleagues ensuring relevant paperwork is in place and up to date e.g., apprenticeship agreements, checklists, finances etc.
• Monitoring relevant inboxes and responding to stakeholder enquiries
• Manage provider contact, reports, reviews and put together central levy dashboard/reports.
• Build up links and work with educational establishments and Job Centre’s to promote any apprenticeship opportunities.
• Any other duties in line with the apprenticeship strategy and with needs of the business

Requirements:

• Experience of working with apprenticeship standards, funding programmes, administration, and compliance
• Proactive self-starter and able to work on own and as part of a team.
• Possesses high levels of resilience and able to work within a fast paced and exciting environment
• Excellent IT skills –MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, Internet, Publisher, Outlook, and various databases
• Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational skills and able to develop and maintain relationships
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with good attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
