Job Description:

You will need to have a qualification in childcare and relevant hands-on experience working with children in the early years age group. The position is permanent and full-time including school holidays, working with children from birth to five years.

Responsibilities:

• We are open 52 weeks a year from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
• Chatterbox is a well-established private full time childcare facility, offering nursery and preschool places for children from birth to five years.
• The staffing team at Chatterbox put the children first, they work together to make every day stimulating and exciting, including story and rhyme time, outside play, adult led learning activities, arts, crafts, messy, play, and plenty of opportunity to play and socialize.
• Chatterbox provides a happy and stimulating environment, with the right mix of structure, education, and social time to help every child reach their full potential and go on to have the best life chances, which is achieved by providing excellent care and good quality early years education from the start of their journey.
• The outside space provides a safe, private garden which can be enjoyed in all weathers.
• The setting is based in a large Georgian house with more than twelve well-resourced rooms, which are bright, airy, and decorated with the children’s work.

Requirements:

• Freshly cooked food and snacks are provided by the cook and at the end of every day the cleaner comes in to make sure the setting is kept clean. Chatterbox has built an excellent reputation over the past 30 years.
• Children are encouraged to develop their skills and personality that make them who they are, to be praised for their achievements and to support them through managing their feelings and behaviors.
